PPC Keywords

Keywords are the search queries people type in search engines and other form fields that than trigger your ad to show.

If you decided to dive into pay-per-click advertising the most important thing is picking the right keywords. Yes, we do give you a list of sample keywords BUT keep in mind that other affiliates have access to them as well which might drive the prices up.

We strongly advise you to find your own keywords. Not only will they be cheaper due to less competition but they might even convert better since people have not yet been exposed to our product.

If you are new to this, let me briefly explain what kind of keywords are out there. I will use as an example you just received the diagnosis of plantar fasciitis.

Browse keywords: Browse keywords are used in the early search phase when you just want to get a general idea. In our example you might have absolutely no idea about foot conditions so you just type in “plantar fasciitis”.
While these keywords are used more often it is harder to convince people at this point of their buying process. They are simply not educated enough and thus usually not ready to buy. Your best chance here is to provide lots of information and then draw a logical conclusion of why our product works.

Compare keywords: In this stage the buyer is already fairly educated. He knows what plantar fasciitis is and by what it is caused. In our example the customer might search for “plantar fasciitis treatment”.

Buy keywords: These are the most valuable keywords because you are dealing with someone who already made up their mind what they want to buy. If someone types in “plantar fasciitis system discount” he has read about our program, wants to give it a chance but would like to get the best deal before going ahead.
Clearly you want to focus either on buy or on compare keywords. They will have the highest conversion rate and the cost per click will usually be lower.
